Onora O’Neill is a philosopher and a member of the UK Parliament (The Right Honourable Baroness O’Neill of Bengarve).
Five years ago she gave a TEDx talk on trust: What we don’t understand about trust.
I don’t know that I agree with everything she says but her talk was thought-provoking.
More interesting than O’Neill’s talk, however, was the discussion in the comments section about our shift from trusting individuals to trusting systems, and whether we’re even fit to judge those systems.
Maybe go read O’Neill’s transcript and then hop down to the comments.
